The Jesuit Refugee Service (JRS) provides critical forms of support to the most marginalised people in Australia, including emergency assistance, a food bank, professional casework, and employment support.

To assist the JRS with its food bank the St Declan's social justice group is conducting a food/grocery drive over 3 weekends in April/May. The social justice group is asking parishioners to donate items from the following list:

* Dried chickpeas - 500g-1kg

* Cooking Oil - 750mL-1L bottles

* Coconut milk - canned

* Canned tomatoes

* Tea and Coffee

* Salt and Sugar

* Gift vouchers - $25-$50 Coles and Woolworths

NOTE:
1. The donation items drop off point is in the school playground opposite the Parish Meeting Room (under the Church).

2. Boxes for food bank donations will be available inside the church foyer at each Mass this weekend.
