The St Declan's Social Justice Group is committed to serving the community and promoting social justice through upholding equality, fairness and the human dignity of all.

Our mission is to inform and promote an understanding of social justice issues and to challenge parishioners to reflect and be motivated to action, as inspired by the life and teachings of Jesus.

We seek to address a range of issues including poverty, disadvantage, discrimination and environmental stewardship. Social justice is a fundamental aspect of Catholic Social Teaching, and all Catholics are called to work for justice and the common good. To achieve this, we engage in advocacy, education and direct service.
