Who can serve in these ministries?

As these are sacred ministries of service within the Catholic Church, those who serve in them need to be fully initiated members of the Church. This means they have been Baptised, received their First Holy Communion and been Confirmed.

There is also a safeguarding process that needs to be completed by anyone wishing to become a Minister of Communion or Acolyte. This is part of our parish’s commitment to ensuring our ministries are safe and welcoming places for everyone.

Further information about the safeguarding process will be provided to those who wish to serve in these ministries as part of the process of becoming a Minister of Communion or Acolyte.

If you have been thinking about serving our parish in one of these ministries, we would love to welcome you and help you get started.
