Whether you are new to attending church, are curious or haven't been to church for a long time, please know that you are welcome at St Declan's.

You may have lots of questions so we've provided some information below to make your first visit easy and enjoyable.

Questions about your first time here

Absolutely! We believe the story and person of Jesus is for everyone! We would love to meet you and answer any questions you may have.

Yes! Many parts of the Mass and church life may be familiar to you, but some things may not be as you remember. It's our hope that St Declan's might be a place where you feel at home.

Our weekend Mass times are Saturday 6 pm, Sunday 7 am, 9 am, 11 am & 6 pm.

We also have shorter daily Masses at 6.45 am Monday, Wednesday and Friday; at 9.15 am Tuesday and Thursday; and at 8 am Saturday.

Visit our Worship page for more details.

All our Masses (services) incorporate prayer, readings from the Bible, a homily (message), receiving Jesus in the Eucharist, and great music. Our weekend Masses are usually about an hour in length.

Yes! We love kids to love church too. All children and families are welcome in the main part of the church. We have an air-conditioned Parents Room at the back of the church for your comfort too. Our children's program, called Little Church, is available during our Sunday 9 am Mass and is an engaging and fun way for primary school aged children to learn about the Bible and about Jesus. See our 'For Kids' page for more information.

We want you to feel welcome to come along and join us at Mass without feeling concerned about being asked to do anything. You can leave whenever you like and while you can remain anonymous, we encourage you to introduce yourself to one of the priests or parishioners – we look forward to meeting and connecting with you.

During Mass we provide the opportunity for regular parishioners to help support our priests and parish financially. Please feel free to not contribute at this time. Most parishioners give electronically.

Yes, we'd love to welcome your family into our parish. Click here to read about our process for Baptisms and to complete the online Application for Baptism form.

We would love to hear from you. Please get in touch with Melissa at welcome@stdeclansparish.org.
